New Look 6690 Little girls dress

This is a quick review of New Look pattern # 6690, which is a little girls dress.
I made views A & E size 4 for my 2 girls.

I used my 'ruffler foot' to make even ruffles around the hem, rather than using the traditional method of sewing 2 rows of stitching and pulling it to form gathers. I preferred the more uniform look.

Over all this was a simple pattern to sew. I found no problems with it. My girls are 4 and a half  and 2 and a half years old. Due to their differences in body type, both needed the same size 4! I did not do any of the applique work as suggested in the pattern.

I would recommend this pattern as a good versatile pattern.
